My name is Lindsay and along with help from my husband, Derek, I have created the Cake Decorating Classes website. It is my intention to make this site a resource for anyone interested in cake decorating, whether they are looking for a class or to connect with other cake decorating enthusiasts.
This website was originally aimed at newcomers to cake decorating, featuring articles dedicated to cake decorating advice and encouragement for anyone thinking about take a cake decorating class. Many of my visitors began asking for specific information about cake decorating classes. My husband is a software developer by trade and had experience of creating WordPress themes; so working together we began evolving this site to meet our visitors’ needs.

About the cake decorating blog directory
The online cake decorating community is growing in size and blogs are a large part of this community. I saw the potential to create a true cake decorating blog directory, to become a hub for cake decorators to find each other and encourage those new to the cake decorating community.
I split the directory into four categories ‘Enthusiasts’, ‘Instructors’, Professionals’ and ‘Recipes’, to make it easier for people to find each other. This seemed preferable to one huge long list of blogs. I also added tags for people who are looking for something more specific.
