Launched in 2010, the Cake Decorating Classes website has gone from strength to strength, successfully connecting students with course providers and has gained wonderful positive feedback and reviews from our members.
Dedicated to promoting cake decorating, Cake Decorating Classes encompasses local cake decorating classes, online cake decorating courses, plus a fantastic selection of blogs written by both professionals and enthusiasts.
Designed, created and maintained in-house by husband and wife team, Derek and Lindsay Pollard, Cake Decorating Classes is constantly being updated and improved to provide the best service to our members and website visitors.
The Team
Lindsay
Graphic designer Lindsay, is responsible for the look and feel of the Cake Decorating Classes website. Planning the site from scratch, Lindsay designed everything from the graphics used to the website layout and usability. As well as the visual side of Cake Decorating Classes, Lindsay also welcomes all our new members through the Cake Decorating Classes blog, where she also shares all the latest news, and some of the lovely feedback received from our members.
Derek
In charge of web design and development, Derek is responsible for taking Lindsay’s designs for Cake Decorating Classes and making them into the working website. With over twenty years of software programming experience, Derek is well equipped to rise to the challenges of running a busy and exciting directory, and catering to our members individual needs. Originally working behind the scenes, Derek has found his own voice and can be found chatting with our members on both Facebook and Twitter. A true gent, Derek is also on hand to assist members with their website woes, regularly offering advice to help improve their own business websites.
