I did this cake for Rosedale North Elementary. They were having an author visit, Tom Birsdeye. A pretty simple cake to do, it still took about 6 hours. It's a two layer chocolate cake with chocolate frosting in the middle, buttercream on the outside and fondant on top.?
Nerf Gun Cake

The gun is rice crispy treat molded with fondant over it and then all the details added. I have to admit, I am very proud of this one. I had fun putting all the little details of the gun on it. The ammo sticking out of the cake is just fondant ammo on skewers.
