Cake Decorating Classes

The Makery Cake Company is both a custom bakery and a centre for learning and doing cake decorating.  The Makery has been recognized with awards and nominated for Best Bakery in Denver.

For cake decorating novices and experienced enthusiasts, the Makery hosts decorating parties, fun classes, and drop-in decorating (they bake and you decorate--similar to a make-your-own pottery store, except that baked goods are decorated.)

Some classes meet regularly for a month and others are single sessions.  The month-long classes include three levels--beginner, intermediate, and advanced.  Single session classes focus on one or more creative projects.

The Makery also offers children's decorating parties and classes.  Junior Pastry Chefs is for kids of all ages--those under 7 must bring an adult.  For ages 13 and up, the Makery's Sugar Arts Academy classes teach more advanced skills.
