Cake Decorating Classes

D & G Occasions has served Florida since 1987.  They hold cake and candy decorating classes and are a major resource for candy making, baking, and decorating supplies.  Their online store and large Orlando retail outlet sell a wide range of supplies for weddings, baby showers, graduations, and other special occasions.

Chocolate candy classes teach various methods of chocolate dipping and decorating, how to color fondant flowers with dusting powders, making filled candies, and how to make double-sided chocolate for three-dimensional treats. "Candy 1" is recommended as an introductory class, for learning how to melt, paint, and mold chocolate.

Their series of Gumpaste classes starts with a Fondant lesson that teaches how to cover with fondant, adding bows, drapes, and swags.  From there, "Beginners Gumpaste" teaches basic gumpaste techniques. After this class, students may sign up to learn how to make sugar flowers, such as the Stargazer Lily, Tulip, Eucharis, Rose, Bearded Iris, and Gerbera Daisy.
