Cake Decorating Classes

The professional cake designers of Cake Creations Dessert Haven make cakes to order and offer Cake Design Classes for all skill levels.  Located in Honolulu, Cake Creations has been in business in Hawaii for over 15 years.

Cake Creations has three comprehensive courses:

• "Basic Cake Decoration Classes"--may be taken in four 2 1/2-hour weekly evening sessions or in three 3-hour Saturday classes.
• "Intermediate Cake Decorating"--focuses on building skills, such as making buttercream flowers, figure piping, airbrushing, and more-four 2 1/2-hour classes held in consecutive weeks.
• "Advanced Cake Decorating"--teaches fondant techniques, application of dusting powders, gumpaste sculpting, and more-four 2 1/2-hour classes held in consecutive weeks.

Special project classes include:

• "Mad Hatter Cake Design" (7 hours);
• "Two Weekends of Flowers"--learn how to make realistic gumpaste flowers in two 4-hour classes;
• "Couture Shoes & Designer Handbag" (2 classes);
• "Introduction to Pastillage"--design a Phantom of the Opera showpiece theme cake (4 classes).
