Maria's Wilton Cake Decorating Classes are offered at several store locations, in and near West Bend, Wisconsin. Maria is a Wilton Method Instructor who has taught hundreds of students since 2005.
Maria teaches Wilton's three core cake decorating courses and other classes, with topics such as "Making Cupcakes" or "Making Cookie Blossoms". Wilton courses are primarily designed for adults, but Maria provides guidelines for participation of younger folks on her website. Periodically, she schedules project classes for children.
Wilton Courses consist of 2-hour weekly sessions, held at the same time, for 4 consecutive weeks. "Decorating Basics" is generally required before taking the more advanced "Flowers & Cake Design" or "Gum Paste & Fondant" courses.
Private classes may be arranged for Girl Scouts, 4H, private parties, and other groups, such as a Ladies' Night Out.
